Using the app

The use of Khutbah is governed by Apple’s standard license agreement for apps from the App Store. It covers, among other things, the license, liability and the applicable law.

An aid to the khutbah

Khutbah helps you follow the khutbah. The spoken text is translated by a language model and is always marked as AI translation; a sentence can be wrong or incomplete. The app shows Quran verses in the translation of a recognized publisher.

The app does not give religious advice and does not replace the khutbah, the imam or a scholar.

Free and Premium

You can follow 1 khutbah per month for free, up to 60 minutes. Premium costs €4.99 per month or €34.99 per year. The yearly plan starts with a free week if you have not used it before.

With Premium the number of khutbahs is unlimited. Translation through our translation service is limited to 20 hours per month; beyond that your device translates by itself, with the languages you have downloaded for that, and the khutbah simply continues.

These are the prices in the Netherlands. The price in your country is shown in the App Store and in the app before you buy.

Payment, renewal and canceling

The subscription runs through your Apple account. It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You cancel on your iPhone under Settings → your name → Subscriptions. After canceling you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds follow Apple’s policy.

Premium can be shared with your family through Apple’s Family Sharing.
